The Maclean Cameron Animal Adoption Center is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the lives of animals. This includes helping lost cats and dogs unite with their owners.
If your animal is lost, please contact us immediately so we can file a lost report. Be prepared to provide our staff with a detailed description of your animal. If you feel one of our animals belongs to you, please call (406) 727-7387 or visit the Center at 900 25th Avenue NE, Great Falls, MT 59404. We are closed Sundays and Mondays, if you have a stray animal during those days, please call Animal Control or wait until our normal business days to bring in the animal.
To expedite the process, please fill out our stray form and bring with you.
We answer phone calls and return voice messages during business hours (which are from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday). We also encourage owners of lost pets to check online or visit the Center at least every 48 hours to see if your animal is here. Telephone information alone may not be sufficient to identify your animal. We urge you to visit the Center in person to positively identify your animal. Please bring proof of ownership and a current photo that will help with identification.
At the Maclean Cameron Animal Adoption Center, we want to ensure the health and well-being of all animals in our care. Vaccines help to protect stray animals while they wait at the Center to be reunited with their owners and inhibit the spread of communicable diseases throughout our community. Because we have no way of ensuring the vaccination status of these animals, the Center has made the decision to vaccinate all animals when arriving at our Center.
If these stray animals are not claimed by the mandatory timeframe (96 hours for animals with identification or 72 hours for animals without identification) we will take ownership of them and begin working to find these animals their “forever home”.
Please check the photos of the pets on our Facebook page.
Along with contacting our facility, your animal may have been turned into the City Shelter.
